Computer Vision & Robotics Engineer

You will build computer vision pipelines that power robotic perception — from object detection and tracking to depth estimation and scene understanding. Your models will run on real hardware in dynamic, unstructured environments including industrial and outdoor deployments.
- Build YOLO-based and transformer-based object detection and tracking systems
- Develop depth estimation and 3D scene reconstruction pipelines
- Integrate vision systems with ROS 2 perception stacks and sensor drivers
- Collect and annotate real-world image and video datasets for training
- Optimise vision models for embedded GPU inference on Jetson hardware
- Validate vision pipeline performance on real robot deployments in the field
- Strong Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience with YOLO, EfficientDet, or transformer-based detection models
- Proficiency in OpenCV and classical image processing techniques
- Knowledge of camera calibration, stereo vision, and depth sensors
- Experience with ROS 2 perception nodes and sensor topic handling
- Experience with TensorRT or ONNX for hardware-accelerated inference
- Familiarity with SLAM pipelines (ORB-SLAM3, RTAB-Map)
- Knowledge of 3D point cloud processing (PCL, Open3D)
- Work with real robotic hardware on real-world perception challenges
