Robotics & Biomedical AI Engineer

You will integrate AI and robotics systems into biomedical applications, developing perception pipelines and control systems that operate in real medical and industrial environments. This role requires both deep software skills and hands-on hardware experience with robotic platforms.
- Develop ROS 2 nodes for perception, navigation, and robotic manipulation
- Integrate AI models into biomedical device workflows and sensor fusion pipelines
- Build data annotation pipelines for medical robotics and clinical datasets
- Collaborate with hardware teams to deploy systems on real robotic platforms
- Validate AI performance on real collected data under clinical safety constraints
- Document system architecture and contribute to technical publications
- 3+ years of ROS 2 development experience (Humble or Iron)
- Strong Python and C++ skills for robotics software
- Experience with medical device integration and sensor interfacing
- Knowledge of SLAM, path planning, and motion control algorithms
- Understanding of safety-critical software standards and validation processes
- Experience with biomedical signal processing (EMG, EEG, IMU)
- Familiarity with FDA/CE regulatory considerations for medical devices
- Knowledge of simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim)
- Work on cutting-edge medical robotics at the AI/hardware intersection
