IoT Hardware & Peripherals Engineer

You will design, prototype, and deploy IoT hardware solutions integrating sensor networks, communication modules, display systems, and cloud connectivity across diverse embedded platforms including Raspberry Pi modules, Jetson, and custom carrier boards.

• Design and prototype IoT device architectures using Raspberry Pi and Jetson modules
• Integrate camera modules, touchscreens, e-ink displays, and industrial display systems
• Develop firmware for MQTT, LoRaWAN, Zigbee, and BLE communication stacks
• Build and review PCB schematics and layouts for IoT carrier and breakout boards
• Implement OTA firmware update mechanisms and remote device management tooling
• Validate hardware reliability under temperature, vibration, and power stress conditions

• Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi compute modules and full SBC variants
• Knowledge of embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS485)
• Experience with wireless IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE 5.x, LoRaWAN, or Zigbee)
• PCB design experience with KiCad or Altium Designer
• Understanding of various display interfaces and touch controller integration

• Experience with industrial IoT standards (IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC-UA)
• Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS or Zephyr) for companion microcontroller targets
• Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub)
